Heritage International is a humanitarian organization, established in 2002, with the vision to fight inequality, poverty, and injustice. We are constantly working on the development of new projects in countries and regions where help is really needed, hand in hand with our partners. The NGO is based on core values such as integrity, honesty, and dedication to the betterment of peoples’ lives. Our principal areas of focus include child support, women empowerment, and capability building in small communities. We have been working in India, Ghana, and Nigeria and we intend to extend our work in other parts of the developing world. Hence, the current need for highly qualified and motivated volunteers/interns. If you are a dedicated, dynamic person with the motivation to work in any environment and effectively in teams, you are the right candidate. You should also be flexible to travel to places outside Europe. We also expect you to be very communicative and resourceful as you will be part of a constantly evolving work environment.

Requirements

-Conversant with the major social media platforms

-Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral English

-Basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite

-Extensive knowledge of various social media platforms and how to best utilize them to build awareness

-Passionate about current trends in social media communication in relation to development

-Highly flexible with the ability to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours to work

-Good command of Danish is not a prerequisite but it is an added advantage.

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Academic qualifications:

You are either a Bachelors student or a first year Masters degree student with a background in communication, graphic designing, marketing, or any related fields of study.

 

Responsibilities

-Create and manage weekly posts to raise awareness about the NGO and monitor their outreach

-Respond to messages/inquiries/complaints received on all social media platforms

-Create, manage, analyze and constantly improve social effectiveness.

-Monitor social media pages on a regular basis to identify opportunities to create engaging content

-Build and grow an audience on new and existing tools to create weekly reports on the impact and effectiveness of online efforts

-Work in close collaboration with the communication and development team to identify recent trends and topics to be addressed.
